Plot:

Wild Animals, a film directed by Cristian Mungiu, takes place in a small village in Transylvania, where everything seems unchanged for a long time. The inhabitants lead a quiet and apparently serene life.
Matthias (Marin Grigore) leaves his job in Germany and returns to his son Rudi (Mark Blenyesi) who lives with his mother Ana (Macrina Barladeanu). The man wants to make up for lost time and dedicate more time to his son and his father who is old and sick.
He also gets closer to his ex, Csilla (Judith State), who runs a small factory in the village. In those days, new Sinhalese workers are hired. The community is not ready for this novelty that disturbs its quiet life.
One day, Rudi is in the woods and is disturbed by something that throws him into a state of shock, from that day on the child no longer speaks and his parents try to understand the cause. Disoriented and internally conflicted, Matthias and Ana are assailed by doubts and suspicions, the man tries to teach the child to use weapons to defend himself in the woods from wild animals.
The entire local population also begins to harbor phobias that feed the ancient ghost of intolerance...

Plot:

Michelle has three passions: her nephew Lucas, her best friend Marie-Claude and the mushrooms she collects in the woods of a small village in Burgundy. Her only affliction is Valérie, an ungrateful daughter who reproaches her for her past - Michelle is a former prostitute - and too much love for her son. An accident at the table and a quiche of toxic mushrooms later, an already fragile balance is broken. Valérie accuses Michelle of having deliberately poisoned her and prevents her from seeing Lucas again. Vincent, Marie-Claude's son who has just been released from prison, is there to put things right. His intentions are good but they unleash a tragic spiral.
