With great trepidation, I share with you the poster I made for François Ozon's film, Under the Leaves.
In addition to loving the thriller as a literary genre, I also love it in the world of cinematography. So you can imagine my joy when Giulio, from BIM Distribuzione (whom I thank so much), involved me in this project: I literally jumped for joy!
I hope I managed to capture the essence of this extraordinary director's work.

From the post by Bim distribuzione:
With the sagacity and noir touch that distinguish his cinema, François Ozon returns to Italian theaters with #SottoLeFoglie. The film is set in a small village in Burgundy, where Michelle's life is about to be turned upside down by a series of mysterious events.
THE PLOT OF UNDER THE LEAVES
Under the Leaves, the film directed by François Ozon, takes place in autumn and stars Michelle Giraud (Hélène Vincent), a pensioner who lives in a quiet village in Burgundy.
The woman shares her life with her long-time friend Marie-Claude Perrin (Josiane Balasko) and devotes herself to tending to her vegetable garden. Her routine is disrupted by the arrival of her daughter Valérie (Ludivine Sagnier) and her grandson Lucas (Garlan Erlos), for the All Saints holidays.
Valérie is distant and resentful towards her mother because of a difficult past. Meanwhile, Marie-Claude is worried about her son Vincent (Pierre Lottin), who has just been released from prison. Michelle, wanting to help him rebuild an honest life, hires him as a gardener. Grateful for the support he has received, Vincent decides to talk to Valérie, trying to improve the relationship between mother and daughter.
The story explores complex family bonds, highlighting the ability to change despite hardship.
